🦁 THE LEGACY OF RAS DAVE

Ras Dave is not new to this. He is true to this.

A digital pioneer and veteran of the West Coast reggae scene, Ras Dave has spent over 25 years at the intersection of Roots Culture and Future Technology.

THE FOUNDATION (1995–2001)
The journey began in the analog era. As the founder of Psalm Records USA, Ras Dave was an architect of the 90s independent reggae movement. Producing sessions at legendary studios and working with reggae icons, he learned the vibration from the originators.

He was also one of the first to see the digital horizon - dominating the MP3.com Reggae Charts in 2001 with multiple Top 10 hits and speaking at the Reggae Ambassadors Worldwide (RAW) conference on the future of digital distribution.

THE REVIVAL
After a hiatus, Ras Dave has returned with fire and focus. Albums like 'What A Gwan' and 'Smile' reintroduced his sound to a new generation, while the breakout 'War & Wisdom' channeled the chaos of the modern world into a cry for truth. His follow-up, Manifesto, blended Nyabinghi chants with Eastern instrumentation, proving that Roots music has no borders.

THE MAGNUM OPUS (2026)
Now, Ras Dave unveils his monumental life’s work: The New Testament Trilogy.
A massive undertaking 20+ years in the making, this three volume project interprets the entire New Testament from Matthew to Revelation, through the heavy drum and bass of roots reggae.

27 Books. 27 Songs. One Vibration.

Operating under his own label, Ten Fathoms Records, Ras Dave continues to push the boundaries of the genre - evolving the Roots tradition to amplify an ancient message for a new era.

Word, Sound, and Power.
